The Descent

Mood Very soon to be showered
Music "I Could Have Danced All Night" Julie Andrews

Just watched that movie and boy-o-boy was it cute. For those of you who havent seen it, it illustrates perfectly the gender difference in modern day America, so go watch it.

Picture a bunch of woman stuck mid spelunk in an unexplored subterranean cavern. When monsters attack, fwoop, they scatter down seperate tunnels. Perfectly understandable human nature. If you're a girl.

You take the same number of people, make them men, then stick them in the same situation.

Difference #1: first thing these fine fellows would do is circle the wagons. Backing up to each other in a defensive huddle (all men know how to do this thanks to the NFL), facing outward, watching for more incoming threats.

Difference #2: where the women spent several moments verbally berating the leader who got them stuck in that predicament, a group of dudes would have comfortably settled into trying to find exactly who was at fault for getting them into the mess. Only after that could they move on to who among them most deserved the privilege of administering an ass beating to the one at fault.

Difference #3: As countless D&D sessions (as well as numerous horror movies but chicks never seem to learn) have proved, you never split up. Unlike those women, who at the slightest inclination, would go sprinting full speed down seperate tunnels, real men would assemble into a rudimentary phalanx and begin marching towards the exit, exacting a bloody toll on any monster that dared pop its head out.

Difference #4: SPOILER ALERT! If you havent seen the movie yet and think that some day you may possibly be bored enough to sit through it and dont want me to give away the ending, stop reading here...

If the above applies and youre still reading then haha on you since Im still going to be as vague as possible.

Guys wont turn on their friends as easily as certain crazy blondes will (and look where she ends up).

P.S. Erin!!!! <3<3<3 :)
